Welcome to MLB Realities

What is MLB Realities?

This website explores the true catalysts behind player failures and successes through a combination of data and film analysis. Rather than focusing on surface-level narratives, the goal is to break down why performance trends happen—whether it’s mechanics, role, system fit, or decision-making.

About Me

My name is Zamir Bueno, and I’m the voice behind MLB Realities.

I work full-time as a settlement analyst in the financial department of one of the largest health insurance companies in New York, where I apply data-driven thinking and attention to detail every day. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Outside of work, I have a disability called cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair. It’s part of my life, but it’s not what defines my perspective—if anything, it has strengthened my ability to analyze situations differently, stay detail-oriented, and focus on what actually drives results.

Why This Site Exists

Most sports analysis focuses on results. MLB Realities focuses on causes.

The goal is simple:

  • Identify the root cause behind performance
  • Separate system-driven outcomes from individual ability
  • Use data and film together—not in isolation

Whether a player is breaking out or struggling, there is always a reason. MLB Realities is built to find it.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
